“Darlin’?” Rosie called out as she stepped into the house with the groceries. She’d been out most of the morning but the whole time she had spent worrying about Jonna. Going from the Australian spring to the English fall had given him a cold. He’d been tired, coughing and not sleeping well.
“Eh.” Jonna appeared from the living room just as she was setting down the bags in the kitchen.
A smile lit up her face when she saw him. He looked better. He wasn’t so pale and looked rested. She went about emptying the bags as he came to see what she got.
“Got real food?”
She giggled knowing he was teasing. Last time she’d gone shopping she had brought back a huge tray of cupcakes from the bakery. Instead of answering she slid him a foil wrapped package that was still warm to the touch.
“What’s it?”
“For you darlin’.” She stood beside him pulling out the groceries on the counter while he opened the package. As soon as the foil pulled back he grinned.
“Gan al-way-a-Gateshead?” Jonna was still grinning at the huge fish sandwich and pile of chips.
She nodded. Once, maybe twice, in the past weeks he’d mentioned the place that sandwich came from. It was a little family owned place Jonna had gone to as a child. She knew he loved that sandwich just by the way he talked about it. Good food brought him up when he got down. It seemed like a good idea considering he wasn’t feeling well.
“Thank you hinny.”
Rosie leaned down intent on kissing his cheek but he caught her lips and laid on one hot kiss. She giggled against his lips before pulling away and stealing a chip.
She smiled as he pulled the package away from her. “Gonna get cold. Better getta eatin’ it.”
He gave her a caress on the side before taking up the fish and chips to head to the living room. This was what Rosie had missed on tour. After awhile she missed doing the most mundane things like shopping for groceries or sitting at home doing nothing at all. It also let her have moments that others rarely saw. Rosie smiled to herself and went back to putting the groceries away. It was good to be back home for the first time together.

Ways I'm a normal girl
I got blonde hair and blue eyes.
I miss my mama.
I love shoes.
I'm worried about what people think of me.
I have a bunch a pet names for my man.
Ways I'm special
I'm marrying a rock 'n' roll singer next year.
I spend lotta time traveling; 9 months or more, every year, for past 5 years.
I've broken most of the stereotypes about what "fat girls" can or can't do.
I am the luckiest girl I know.
I'm a good pyrotechnics and lighting assistant for stage shows.

You Are The Silence of the Lambs |
![]() You think the scariest thing in the world is the human mind. What serial killers are capable of frightens you to the core. You aren't big on gore or action when it comes to horror movies. You rather delve deeper than that... and get completely disturbed. In fact, you can hardly ever find a horror movie that compares to the nastiness of a true crime story. You couldn't think up the brutal crimes that occur in real life. In your opinion, no monster can be as scary as a human. You don't have to look far to find someone that totally terrifies you. |

Gonna be the Easter Bunny. Ain't sure why but outfit's cute. Don't think anyone else gonna be one either. I like being different than everyone else. Besides gonna be cute to see my burly man walking into a pub back home with a big ol'hot Easter Bunny.
Take each letter of your name, and make it a song in your playlist. Don't forget to place your playlist behind a cut if there is a chance it will autoplay.
Bonus points if you can spell out your full name.
Extra bonus points if you can make all the songs relate to you.

Rosie Marshall
Rosie never really knew her father. She still doesn't see him. Her mother became pregnant underaged and the family forced a shotgun wedding. Rosie's father, Paul Marshall, never wanted her and wanted her even less after he found out it was a girl. Rosie has always tried to get her father's attention and affection but never has. Rosie's mother, Betty, has always been close to her. They were more like sisters than mother and daughter when Rosie was a teen and into her early adulthood. They worked together at the same truck stop and used to go out together. Her death from cancer hit Rosie very hard. She still misses her mother a lot. She'll always talk fondly of her mom but rarely mentions her father. Now that she's living/traveling with Jonna she looks to him sometimes for what she should do. The fact that he is almost twice her age has sort of filled in that gap she has from her father. More than Jonna though, it is his older brother and Jonna's father that Rosie sees as her dad. She even calls Jonna's dad her dad when she talks about him.

Somehow she had managed to keep this quiet. She didn't know how but she did. There she was at the recording studio with a huge cake. People had been invited. She had sent plane tickets to some of them even. She'd set up an open bar. Now all she needed was the birthday boy and guests. They'd come eventually.
While she waited Rosie made a martini. Jonna was going to pay her back for this for sure but it was worth it, well worth it. It'd been too long since they had a party.

Rosie sat on the couch, curled up and staring at the TV. It was off. It had been the whole time she sat there but she didn’t notice. When Jonna left and didn’t take her along she broke. Something, some part of her no one had ever hurt was pained. Her mom had tried to get her to eat but food had lost its interest. The only place in the world she wanted to be was miles away and beyond her reach.
People were moving around her house but they didn’t matter. She ignored them for the most part. Everything was forsaken in light of the man she wanted walking out of her life again. Her father had walked away before she knew him. Her grandfather had died early on and all her boyfriends had eventually left because while she was fun she was never the skinny girl they took home. Now Jonna walked away. There had to be something wrong with her. She tugged her dress trying to cover her legs. She couldn’t cry anymore but she wanted to desperately. The hurt had to come out.
